  7. He is the most incredible man, I admire him so much.

  8. “Sexy Noodles” now there’s a band name.

  9. Tony Levin = bass god.

  10. I wonder why if Tony only uses the bass side why he just doesn’t play a chapman bass stick.

  11. mabye he just likes the idea of his palm on his right just being against something for support instead of just floating

  12. sorry left i ment

  13. I owned a Stick for about 2 years. Finally gave up. The hardest thing by far that I ever tried to play. So difficult it was not even fun to practice. Kudos to anyone with the patience and perseverance to master it.
But it was cool because I sold it for $250more than I paid.

  14. @Casey: Cool that you got Tony to play a session. The man’s a genius.

As to the “why Tony doesn’t use the six guitar strings much?” the answer is I think he doth protest a bit too much here. There are plenty of Crim songs where Tony’s playing a rhythm part, e.g., Waiting Man. It’s even more apparent in his solo material from World Diary or In the Caves of the Iron Mountain.

  15. Or possibly because he played this standard model for many years before the Bass stick came out and is just used to it.

  16. What is the the name of the last song Tony is playing?

  17. Still the coolest Bass ever made.. Tony Levin is outstanding of course.

  18. Yep, Tony is great! He’s real passionate about his playing. I also like Tom Peterson on the 12 string.

  19. yeah Tony Levin is the”coolest” bass player that I’ve ever seen

  20. It’s my song Mein Herz , thank you!
