Posted on February 27th, 2010 by
Haven't uploaded a new video in a while so I thought I'd record this short Tull piece. Not perfect but good enough for now.

It’s a reprint of a Dali.
i have the same dali in my music room, good choice
I’d love to hear my god played on a stick… i love Jethro Tull so much…
Heard a chapman stick played live once – incredible instrument !!!
Well, so what if you are?
Boy, I’d love to hear a stick version of “Dun Ringhill” (sic?).
ye and really expansive to!! for the money its costs, its better sound good!
right hand is bass and left hand is guitar right?
can u separate the different neck in terms of sound? like if i wanted the guitar 2 be distorted and the bass 2 be clean?
Yup, bass and melody have different pickups and can be processed separately.
thats so ill
What a marvelous instrument.
Also, I see you have some Dali on your wall?
Yup, sure do.
Mate give Ian Anderson a call … and I am sure you will get into the band quick smark…. Very good.. Thank you…(ps) It is probably my favourite Tull song …Cheers
Rob…your playing is simply…breathtaking. Beautiful, almost sensual. Thanks for your awesome talent.
What is the deal with these chapman sticks? They’re so amazing! Oh, the things you could think on these.
Great tapping, my friend.
That’s what God invented strings for.
AWESOME!!!
very nice.
ULTRASOUND AWESOME EXELLENT
lovely simple version of an old classic…thank you for your new take on it.
yea thats great. just imagine how much better it would sound if you recorded each part separately on a bass and a guitar.
WoW!!!
I’ll bet you’ve met some Tull fans!!!
Seriously love your work.Tasty Tunage…
?TuLL icious!
It is great to see your thoughtful interpretations of various prog pieces using the Stick. I’ll bet that Greg Lake or Mike Rutherford wished they had invented these instruments earlier, giving a chance for bassist/guitarists to express themselves more completely without having to carry a 70 pound monster.
amazing, man. keep up playing like this!!!
