Program Overview

The Chapman Stick Workshop will include instruction for players of the Chapman Stick®, the electric two-handed tapping instrument which began to appear in the 1970s and 1980s, and whose best-known player is Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, King Crimson).

Concert on Thursday, August 20, 2009, as part of the Interlochen Guitar Festival and Workshop Concert Series --  Chapman Stick Workshop participant evening Guitar Festival and Workshop Concert Series tickets for the Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances are included with paid registration fees.

Please contact Interlochen's Box Office for tickets.  Chapman Stick Workshop participants may visit any of Interlochen's sessions.

Stick Workshop classes will be held on the campus of Interlochen Center for the Arts and also features Guitar Festival Concert Series' performances in Corson Auditorium.
